Pete Crow-Armstrong's Platinum Glove Award is a rare win for the Chicago Cubs in their growing rivalry with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Chicago Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong has won the National League Platinum Glove Award, Rawlings announced on Friday night. Crow-Armstrong secured the defensive honor over finalists including Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Brice Turang and outfielder Jackson Chourio. The award is determined each year through a combination of defensive analytics and fan voting.
Reviewing the Brew writer Owen Jonas noted that while Crow-Armstrong totaled 16 Defensive Runs Saved and 25 Outs Above Average, Turang posted comparable numbers with 23 Defensive Runs Saved and 14 Outs Above Average. Crow-Armstrong and Turang are also finalists alongside Shohei Ohtani for the National League MVP award.
