The Story in 60 Seconds

The Milwaukee Brewers are facing backlash after fans who purchased $1,000 "Timeless Tickets" in 2015 were offered terrace-level or standing-room access instead of premium seating for the World Series. Ticket holders, including brothers Kevin and Kyle Deaton and fan Danny Fochesato, argued the franchise failed to fulfill its promise of providing the best available seats as the team advanced to its first World Series since 1982.

Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger admitted the organization made errors in internal logistics and failed to live up to the program's spirit. In response, the Brewers announced that affected eligible holders can keep their assigned World Series tickets and will also retain their Timeless Tickets for redemption at a future home game.
