Two players who appeared in the major leagues this season, Oliver Dunn and Thomas Pannone, have officially elected minor league free agency. Both players qualified after being outrighted off their respective clubs' 40-man rosters during the season, according to transaction records on MiLB.com.
Dunn played nine games for the Tampa Bay Rays this year after being acquired from the Chicago White Sox, while Pannone made a single start on July 29 for the Milwaukee Brewers.
