The Minnesota Twins have hired Brian Reith as their new pitching coach for the 2027 season, replacing Pete Maki following his departure at the end of the 2026 campaign. In addition to Reith's appointment, the organization promoted Ben Myers from their Triple-A affiliate, the St. Paul Saints, to the major league training staff.
Reith spent the previous five seasons serving as the pitching coach for the Tampa Bay Rays' Triple-A affiliate. During his time in the Rays organization, Reith previously coached current Twins pitchers Joe Ryan and Taj Bradley, and he now takes over a staff featuring both veteran arms and emerging prospects.
