The start time for Game 3 of the ALCS on Thursday was moved up five hours to 1 p.m. ET due to expected inclement weather.

Major League Baseball announced that Game 3 of the American League Championship Series has been rescheduled to 1 p.m. ET on Thursday. The matchup between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field was originally set for 6 p.m. ET but was shifted up five hours to avoid forecasted rain in northeast Ohio.
The proactive schedule adjustment ensures the series stays on track, with the teams tied 1-1 after opening two games at Tropicana Field. In addition, MLB moved Game 4 of the National League Championship Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers up one hour to 8 p.m. ET on Thursday.
