Allison Waxman evaluates New York Mets relief pitcher Tobias Myers, assigning him a D grade for his performance across the 2026 Major League Baseball season. Myers struggled throughout the campaign, compiling a 5.53 ERA, 1.342 WHIP, and a 1-2 record with two saves over 53.2 innings pitched in 32 games.
After a strong opening month, Myers experienced severe midseason slumps and multiple option stints to Triple-A Syracuse before recovering with a 1.17 ERA in September. Waxman notes that the Mets have exhausted Myers' minor-league options, making it likely he will serve in the bullpen as a swingman for the 2027 season.
