The Good Phight's Joe Edinger evaluated relief pitcher Brad Keller's 2026 season with the Philadelphia Phillies, giving him a final grade of F. Keller signed a two-year, $22 million contract prior to the season to serve as the primary setup man for closer Jhoan Duran. However, the right-hander endured statistical regression before suffering a season-ending torn UCL that required Tommy John surgery.
Keller appeared in 32 games, posting a 4.02 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP across 31.1 innings pitched. Edinger argues that the signing became a total disaster for Dave Dombrowski and the front office, as the injury will likely sideline Keller through 2027 and leave Philadelphia searching for bullpen reinforcements.
