Philadelphia Phillies general manager Dave Dombrowski is projected to land one of baseball's top free-agent pitchers.

The Philadelphia Phillies are being projected by multiple baseball analysts to target free-agent relief pitcher Adrian Morejon this offseason. ESPN's David Schoenfield and SNY's John Harper identified the left-handed reliever as a prime target for general manager Dave Dombrowski, who is seeking to upgrade a bullpen that struggled during the 2026 season. Morejon posted a combined 2.48 ERA over the past two seasons with the San Diego Padres.
The Athletic's Jim Bowden projects Morejon to secure a three-year, $42 million permanent contract on the open market. Philadelphia faces potential competition for the southpaw from several clubs, including the New York Yankees and the Padres, who may seek to re-sign him.
