The Pittsburgh Pirates have officially released seven minor league pitchers from their organization following the conclusion of the World Series. The roster moves were confirmed via the Minor League Baseball transactions log as the club begins reshaping its lower minor-league affiliates for the offseason.
The released players include right-handers Darlin Mejia, Albert Vega, Leudy Reyes, Leuris Paulino, Welin Aponte, and Jose Sequera, as well as left-hander Yhosneiber Torres.
