MadFriars named outfielder and first baseman Nick Solak the 2026 El Paso Chihuahuas Player of the Year. Solak batted .311/.376/.487 with 16 home runs and 80 RBIs across 511 plate appearances for the Triple-A affiliate, leading the team in doubles and runs batted in.
The publication also selected 25-year-old outfielder Carlos Rodriguez as the team's Top Position Prospect after he led the Chihuahuas with 148 hits and stole 23 bases. Despite El Paso's 60-90 record, manager Pete Zamora emphasized that the season succeeded in preparing multiple players for major league contributions with the San Diego Padres.
