Prior to the game, she attended an event with other team spouses at the Diamond Room cocktail bar in Downtown San Diego.

Morejon previously spoke about how meeting his wife and building a relationship with her family helped him manage being separated from his parents between 2016 and 2023. His parents, who had returned to Cuba, permanently relocated to the United States in 2023. During the 2026 season, Morejon holds a 9-3 record with a 2.83 ERA across 76 bullpen appearances.
