Ex-San Francisco Giants Star Pitcher Wins World Series With Brewers

Former San Francisco Giants pitcher Kyle Harrison won a World Series ring in his debut season with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in five games to win the title after postseason series wins against the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers. Although manager Pat Murphy included Harrison on the postseason roster as a bullpen option, he did not pitch during the playoffs.

Harrison joined Milwaukee via trade from the Boston Red Sox in February after initially leaving the Giants in a June 2025 blockbuster deal for Rafael Devers. The 25-year-old left-hander started the season strongly with a 7-1 record and 1.57 ERA over 11 starts, ultimately finishing the year 11-5 with a 4.20 ERA across 28 appearances.
