San Francisco Giants infielder Rafael Devers has been named a finalist for the Silver Slugger Award following a standout season at the plate. He was announced as a finalist alongside Milwaukee's Jake Bauers, St. Louis's Alec Burleson, and Atlanta's Matt Olson. Devers previously won the honor twice in his career, in 2021 and 2023.

Devers finished the campaign with 37 home runs, 36 doubles, 88 RBIs, and a .258/.340/.525 slash line across 148 games. Writer Bryan Murphy noted that while Devers anchored the Giants' lineup, he faces tough competition to become the franchise's first winner since Buster Posey in 2021.
