The offseason is just starting and here are some SF Giants news developments at the start of what should be an interesting month.

Former San Francisco Giants catcher Nick Hundley has been promoted to Vice President of Player Development for the Texas Rangers after previously serving as a senior advisor. Meanwhile, former Giants general manager Brian Sabean addressed a potential return to San Francisco following his departure from the New York Yankees, telling The Athletic that he would "certainly answer the call."
Around the Foghorn notes that Hundley previously withdrew from consideration for the Giants' managerial role before Tony Vitello was hired. Writer Nick San Miguel suggests that a reunion between Sabean and the Giants front office, led by Buster Posey, would make sense alongside advisors Dusty Baker and Bruce Bochy.
