The Seattle Mariners have extended a one-year, $23.15 million qualifying offer to free-agent outfielder Randy Arozarena ahead of Monday's deadline. Arozarena has until November 17 to accept or decline the offer. By extending the qualifying offer, Seattle guarantees itself Draft pick compensation if Arozarena chooses to sign with another team in free agency.

Arozarena is coming off a career-best campaign, leading the Mariners with a .281 batting average, 26 home runs, 79 RBIs, and a 5.5 WAR. Alongside the offer, the Mariners made several 40-man roster adjustments, including claiming reliever Isaac Mattson off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates and reinstating seven players from the 60-day injured list.
