Emilio Pagán is a free agent after declining a player option with the Reds. The Mariners should be interested.

Zachary Rymer of Sodo Mojo argues that the Seattle Mariners should pursue free-agent reliever Emilio Pagán to upgrade their bullpen this offseason. Pagán recently declined a $10 million player option for 2027 with the Cincinnati Reds to test the open market as a free agent.
Rymer writes that moving from Cincinnati to pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park would benefit Pagán, who recorded 57 saves over the past two seasons. The author contends Pagán's pitch mix and release extension would offer a distinct, valuable contrast to Seattle's existing fastball-slider relievers.
