The St. Louis Cardinals' Double-A affiliate, formerly known as the Springfield Cardinals, has officially unveiled its new identity as the Ozarks Springbirds. General manager Dan Reiter introduced the rebrand during a launch party at Route 66 Stadium on Tuesday. The redesign aims to connect with the city, represent the broader Ozarks region, and maintain strong ties to Cardinals Nation alongside the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds.
Designed by Studio Simon, the new branding features an aggressive bird, local symbols from Springfield's city flag, and an homage to the television show Ozark. The team also unveiled new home white, road red, and alternate powder blue uniforms. The Ozarks Springbirds are scheduled to make their on-field debut on April 2, 2027, against the Tulsa Drillers.
