We have asked how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. We have asked how many Jose Altuves tall Aaron Judge is. Now, we ask how many Chandler Simpson bunt singles you can fit…

During the Tampa Bay Rays' ALCS-clinching win, Chandler Simpson and Junior Caminero displayed contrasting running speeds on key plays. Simpson sprinted to first base on a bunt single in just 3.78 seconds, reaching a top speed of 31.4 mph. In contrast, Caminero took 38.66 seconds to complete his home run trot after hitting a critical two-run homer in the seventh inning.
Statcast tracking revealed that just over 10 of Simpson's bunt sprints could fit into Caminero's single home run trot. Caminero's 38.66-second trip was the second-slowest home run trot recorded under Statcast since 2015, trailing only another personal trot from earlier in the season.
