Corbin Burnes will not opt out of the final four years of his contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks, according to reports. The right-handed pitcher originally signed a six-year, $210 million deal with Arizona following the 2024 season, which featured an opt-out clause after the 2026 campaign.
Burnes underwent Tommy John surgery during the 2025 season after suffering a torn UCL, limiting him to just three starts and 10.1 innings in 2026. He remains guaranteed $35 million annually from 2027 through 2030, with $11 million per year deferred.
