Jamey Newberg published his updated end-of-season rankings of the top 72 prospects in the Texas Rangers minor league system. Shortstop Sebastian Walcott retained the number one overall ranking following an offensive surge down the stretch, where he posted a .991 OPS across 187 plate appearances in Double-A and Triple-A Round Rock after recovering from elbow surgery.

Newberg highlighted significant breakout performers, notably 24-year-old third baseman Rafe Perich, who surged into the top 20 after hitting 27 home runs across High-A and Double-A. Eighteen-year-old Daniel Rodriguez also entered the top 20 after being previously unranked, while several players who exhausted rookie eligibility or face minor-league free agency were excluded.
