Vladimir Guerrero Sr. is planning to work with his Toronto Blue Jays star son this offseason to help him have a better year.

Baseball Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero Sr. revealed plans to work more closely with his son, Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., to help improve his hitting. According to MLB insider Mike Rodriguez, the elder Guerrero will collaborate alongside his brother Wilton Guerrero to support his son ahead of next season.
The initiative follows a difficult 2026 campaign for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. with the Blue Jays. Over the course of the season, the first baseman recorded a .260/.332/.356 slash line, finished with 1.1 bWAR, and managed only nine home runs and 57 RBI, hitting just one home run at Rogers Centre.
