Foster Griffin performed well in his first ever appearance in the American League Championship Series for the Cleveland Guardians last night.

Former Washington Nationals pitcher Foster Griffin delivered a solid outing in his first career ALCS start for the Cleveland Guardians. Griffin allowed two earned runs on five hits across 4.0 innings, striking out three batters without issuing a walk in Cleveland's Game 1 road victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.
Griffin, who earned an All-Star selection with Washington before being dealt to Cleveland at the trade deadline, has posted 10 strikeouts and zero walks over 6.2 postseason innings across the ALDS and ALCS. Bennett Lehmann notes that Griffin will likely be in line for another start later in the series.
