Jordan Zimmermann and Ryan Zimmerman in the inaugural Banana Bowl from Nationals Park, where they were only 2 of a handful of celebrities to appear in the event.

Former Washington Nationals teammates Ryan Zimmerman and Jordan Zimmermann faced off in a viral moment during the Savannah Bananas' inaugural Banana Bowl at Nationals Park. Jordan pitched to Ryan, resulting in a flyout to left field that thrilled the packed crowd in mid-October.
Both franchise legends have been retired for several years but returned to their former home field for the exhibition event. Former Washington Capitals player TJ Oshie also made a guest appearance, leading the stadium in a sing-along to "Take Me Home, Country Roads."
