Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Jacob Misiorowski is scheduled to start World Series Game 5 against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field. The start marks the first time in his postseason career that Misiorowski will start a playoff game that is not a series opener, having previously pitched Game 1 in all three of his postseason series this year.
The 24-year-old enters the game with an opportunity to clinch Milwaukee's first World Series title, with the Brewers holding a 3-1 series lead following a 4-3, 12-inning loss in Game 4. Manager Pat Murphy held Misiorowski out of relief action on Tuesday to keep him on four days' rest.
