Red Sox hire away Yanks’ Triple-A skipper; Kilby, Veach make AFL Fall Stars roster; making the HoF case for Sweet Lou.

Shelley Duncan has left the New York Yankees organization to accept a position on the Boston Red Sox major league coaching staff. Duncan previously managed the Yankees' Triple-A affiliate, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, for the past four seasons. His contract had expired, allowing him to seek opportunities elsewhere, though his specific coaching role in Boston has not yet been officially finalized.
During his managerial tenure with the RailRiders, Duncan earned International League Manager of the Year honors in 2025. He is credited with helping develop key players for New York, including Ben Rice and Cam Schlittler. The report notes that Duncan is likely to serve as either the first-base or third-base coach for Boston.
