Natalia Silva claimed the UFC women's flyweight championship at UFC 332 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, defeating Wang Cong by decision. Following the victory, former division champion Valentina Shevchenko congratulated Silva on social media while issuing a warning that she plans to return to reclaim the title.
Shevchenko had previously vacated the 125-pound championship to take time off to address lingering injuries. The victory extended Silva's winning streak to 15 fights, including an unblemished 9-0 record inside the UFC octagon.
