Edmen Shahbazyan secured a decision victory against Brunno Ferreira across three rounds at UFC 331 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Fighting in front of a supportive local Armenian crowd, Shahbazyan relied on systematic calf kicks and nearly earned a finish in the closing moments of the contest.
Following the bout, Shahbazyan stated that Ferreira adopted a more defensive strategy than anticipated, which allowed him to control the pace. Having fought twice in 2026, Shahbazyan noted he will likely return to the Octagon either late in the year or early next year.
