The UFC champion just said his next bout could be his final one. He wants to fight the best before he hangs up the gloves for good.

UFC champion Islam Makhachev has announced that his upcoming fight will be one of the last of his professional MMA career. The top pound-for-pound fighter shared the retirement update on social media on Friday, signaling that the end of his historic run is approaching.
The 35-year-old champion holds a 17-fight winning streak, which stands as the longest in UFC history. Makhachev previously declined a scheduled title defense against Carlos Prates at UFC 336 in January, prompting the promotion to arrange an interim title bout between Prates and Michael Morales.
