Jon Jones fires back at Colby Covington after Gable Steveson comments: ‘You’re obsessed with me’

Jon Jones responded on social media to criticism from Colby Covington regarding Gable Steveson's recent knockout loss. Covington had previously claimed that Jones' negative energy contributed to Steveson's defeat and criticized his influence. In response, Jones dismissed Covington's comments, called his former college roommate obsessed, and compared their relative career accomplishments.

Jones further mocked Covington by sharing an image of the broken jaw Covington suffered against Kamaru Usman. He told Covington that his deep hatred appeared directed at the wrong person, referencing Usman's victory over him. Richardson notes that due to the size disparity, the feud is unlikely to move beyond social media.
