Polarizing UFC heavyweight contender Josh Hokit responded to Dana White’s discomfort with the prospect of a title reign.

UFC heavyweight contender Josh Hokit has responded to comments from UFC CEO Dana White regarding his potential title reign. Hokit is scheduled to face Ciryl Gane for the vacant undisputed heavyweight championship in the UFC 334 main event in November, following Tom Aspinall vacating the belt.
White previously stated that he does not like Hokit's public comments and would have to manage his behavior if he wins the title. Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Hokit dismissed the criticism, claiming he is secretly White's favorite fighter and stating that his primary focus is delivering quality fights rather than seeking popularity.
