Magomed Zaynukov will return to action in the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2027.
Magomed Zaynukov has dismissed rumors linking him to a matchup against Manoel Sousa at UFC Qatar in November. Taking to social media, the undefeated lightweight announced that he did not sign any contract for the bout and confirmed he will not compete for the remainder of 2026.
Zaynukov explained that he is continuing rehabilitation following hand surgery undergone earlier this year. The 31-year-old teammate of Islam Makhachev holds a 9-0 record and last competed in July, when he won his promotional debut by unanimous decision against Damian Rzepecki.
