Marat Grigorian backs Masaaki Noiri’s semifinal win as tournament final takes shape

Marat Grigorian agreed with the judges' split decision favoring Masaaki Noiri over Mohammad Siasarani in the ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament semifinals on Saturday, October 17. The event took place at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan. Grigorian stated that Noiri deserved the win by pushing the pace and applying pressure, despite acknowledging that Siasarani landed clean shots during the fight.

Grigorian advanced to the tournament final after his scheduled opponent, Luo Chao, missed weight and was disqualified. The Armenian fighter, who trains at Hemmers Gym and holds a four-fight winning streak, will face Noiri in the final. The winner of the tournament earns a guaranteed title fight against reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon.
