Paddy Pimblett has no fight date set up at the moment, and unless the UFC moves quickly the Liverpool fighter will be out until the second quarter of the year. Pimblett hasn’t fought since a quick one minute submission win…

Paddy Pimblett stated that he is running out of potential opponents in his division, suggesting that Ilia Topuria is the only logical matchup left for his next UFC bout. Pimblett explained that other top fighters in his division are likely booked up, naming potential pairings including Charles Oliveira against Diego Lopes and Arman Tsarukyan facing Justin Gaethje.
Pimblett has been idle since submitting Benoit Saint-Denis in July and ruled out competing in January. He stated he targets a return in March or April if he does not fight before the end of the year. Pimblett also claimed Topuria would struggle mentally following a loss to Justin Gaethje.
