Former rugby league star Paul Gallen is returning to the boxing ring to face undefeated heavyweight Nelson Asofa-Solomona. The heavyweight bout is scheduled to take place in Sydney on Friday, November 6. Gallen previously retired from boxing in 2025 after a successful crossover career.
Asofa-Solomona enters the fight with an undefeated record of three wins, all coming by way of knockout. Gallen, who holds a professional record of 16-2-1, will face a significant size disadvantage against his opponent, who stands 200 centimeters tall and weighs over 130 kilograms.
