Renato Moicano and Farman Hasanov were transported to the hospital for precautionary evaluations following their respective defeats at UFC Vegas 123 on Saturday night. Moicano was stopped via third-round TKO by Tom Nolan in the lightweight main event, which featured controversy over a referee standup. Both Moicano and Hasanov underwent precautionary CT scans of their head and face.
According to an MMA Mania report, Moicano absorbed substantial damage after Nolan landed 177 total strikes. Hasanov was hospitalized after suffering a severe cut above his left eye against Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani, resulting in a doctor stoppage defeat.
