Former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno will return at the final major event of 2026 against a dangerous contender.

Former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno is reportedly set to face Charles Johnson at UFC 335 in Las Vegas this December. The matchup was first reported by MMA Fighting, although the promotion has not yet announced a main event for the card. Moreno aims to re-enter the division's title picture following his bounce-back victory against Joseph Morales at Noche UFC 4.
Johnson previously handed current flyweight champion Joshua Van his only career knockout defeat in July 2024 at UFC Denver. Johnson enters the bout after securing a twister submission win over Eduardo Henrique at UFC 330, while Moreno looks to build momentum after prior consecutive losses to Tatsuro Taira and Lone'er Kavanagh.
