Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier criticized Gable Steveson following his 12-second knockout loss to Sean Sharaf at UFC 331. The heavyweight bout took place on Saturday night at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Steveson entered the contest as a heavily favored heavyweight prospect before being caught by a left hook from Sharaf.
Rogan stated that the pre-fight hype and betting odds got to Steveson's head, leaving him flat-footed in the cage. Cormier also criticized Steveson for exiting the Octagon before Bruce Buffer officially announced Sharaf's victory, labeling the heavyweight an ungrateful loser for not staying to see the winner's hand raised.
