Rapper Drake has placed a $650,000 bet on flyweight champion Joshua Van to defeat Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 331. The main event rematch takes place on September 19 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Drake revealed his betslip on Instagram Stories, noting he stands to win over $1 million if Van retains his title.
Van previously took the belt from Pantoja after the Brazilian suffered a dislocated elbow at UFC 323, later defending it against Tatsuro Taira. The wager has sparked renewed talk of the infamous Drake curse following several high-profile losing bets by the musician, including wagers on Conor McGregor, Jake Paul, and Charles Oliveira.
