Up Next Fighting champion Anthony Romero has agreed to make his promotional debut on three days' notice against Marcus McGhee at UFC 332. The event takes place on October 3 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Romero steps in to replace Swedish bantamweight Bernardo Sopaj, who was forced to withdraw during fight week because of an injury.
Due to the short preparation window, the bout between McGhee and Romero will take place at featherweight rather than bantamweight. Romero enters the Octagon holding a 7-2 professional record following a 25-second knockout title defense in UNF, while McGhee aims to build on his June victory over John Yannis.
