Caio Borralho fought through some extreme adversity last time out. The Brazilian middleweight is among those set to make the walk to the UFC Octagon…

UFC middleweight contender Caio Borralho has revealed that he concealed a severe broken rib from the promotion before defeating Reinier de Ridder at UFC 326. Borralho suffered the fracture two weeks prior to the bout in Las Vegas but chose not to disclose the condition to UFC officials or his parents, only informing his coaching staff and his wife.
Following the contest, an MRI revealed the rib separation had worsened after 10 weeks, necessitating emergency surgery the next day. The recovery led Borralho to withdraw from UFC 330 against Joe Pyfer, but he is now scheduled to face Yousri Belgaroui at UFC 334 inside Madison Square Garden.
