UFC women's bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison revealed that her retirement from mixed martial arts is approaching. Speaking on the Deep Waters podcast, the 36-year-old fighter stated that while she plans to compete until the wheels fall off, it won't be much longer before she steps away from the sport.
Harrison cited physical wear, including four surgeries across four years, and personal responsibilities as a single mother homeschooling two children as key factors. She is currently scheduled to defend her bantamweight title against Amanda Nunes at UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden on November 14, 2026.
