UFC Edmonton’s Mike Malott: “This Is My Show”

Canadian welterweight Mike Malott expressed supreme confidence ahead of his UFC Edmonton main event clash against Joaquin Buckley, calling the event "my show." Speaking at media day, Malott reflected on his journey five years after earning a contract on Dana White's Contender Series, embracing his growing role as a headline attraction for the UFC's Canadian fight cards.

Malott highlighted his comfort level in the promotion, noting he feels calm and dialed-in following an exceptional training camp. Addressing Buckley's reserved approach to pre-fight promotion, Malott emphasized his strong local standing, stating that while Buckley is a skilled top-10 contender, the Canadian crowd makes it his platform.
