The ex-two-division champion isn't ruling out a return to his primary UFC division.

Former UFC two-division champion Alex Pereira has mapped out his future plans ahead of his heavyweight return at UFC 335 in Las Vegas. The Brazilian star has indicated that he plans to drop back down to the light heavyweight division if he suffers a defeat against Sergei Pavlovich in their scheduled co-main event bout in December.
Pereira previously made his heavyweight debut against Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250 in June, losing by second-round technical knockout for the interim championship. His continued stint at heavyweight has drawn criticism from rival Israel Adesanya, who argued that Pereira should return to 205 pounds for an immediate title opportunity.
