Carson Hocevar finally gets to deal with the consequences of his actions.

Justin Haley will replace Carson Hocevar in the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Spire Motorsports suspended Hocevar following an incident involving Austin Cindric at Martinsville Speedway, after which NASCAR also issued a $100,000 fine and docked Hocevar 25 driver points.
Beyond the Flag writer Asher Fair argues that the suspension was much-needed following Hocevar's recurring on-track behavior. Haley, who previously drove full-time for Spire in 2025 and won with the team in 2019, steps in while competing full-time in the Craftsman Truck Series.
