The Chase has taken a chaotic turn, and Christopher Bell knows that he's "absolutely in it."

Christopher Bell has closed the championship gap to just five points behind NASCAR Cup Series leader Kyle Larson following a fourth-place finish at Phoenix Raceway. Bell led a race-high 85 laps and capitalized on Larson blowing a tire and finishing 34th. With only three races remaining in the season, Bell sits in prime position to challenge for his first Cup title.
Bell and crew chief Adam Stevens are preparing for the remaining playoff rounds at Talladega, Martinsville, and Homestead. Stevens noted the challenge of competing against Larson, who may receive unified manufacturer support from Chevrolet, while Bell contends with Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Chase Briscoe and Denny Hamlin also remaining in title contention.
