Wood Brothers Racing driver Josh Berry suffered a heavy crash during NASCAR Cup Series practice at Las Vegas Motor Speedway after blowing a tire. Berry lamented the incident, pointing out that low tire pressures and track bumps in Turns 1 and 2 contributed to the wreck.
Fellow Ford driver Noah Gragson also crashed due to a tire failure in the same area. Both Berry and Gragson missed qualifying, forcing Berry to transition to a backup car and start from the rear of the field on Sunday.
