In a race that had a profound effect on the NASCAR Cup Series Chase presented by Mobil 1, Chase Briscoe and Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Christopher Bell banged fenders within sight of the finish line.

Chase Briscoe claimed victory in the NASCAR Cup Series Bank of America 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, narrowly defeating Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Christopher Bell by 0.029 seconds. The victory marked Briscoe's second consecutive win in the 2026 Chase playoffs, achieved after holding off Bell amidst late contact in the tri-oval.
The razor-thin finish elevated Briscoe into fourth place in the postseason standings, 65 points behind leader Kyle Larson, who finished sixth. Bell remains third in the championship battle, while Ryan Blaney and Denny Hamlin finished third and fifth, respectively.
