Jeff Hensley, crew chief for Tanner Gray's No. 15 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro team at TRICON Garage, will miss the upcoming race at Phoenix Raceway after battling sepsis. His wife, Lynn Ramsey Hensley, confirmed via Facebook that he was hospitalized with the condition following the Charlotte race, but is now expected to make a full recovery.
TRICON Garage employee Jacob Hampton will step in to take over shot-calling duties in Avondale, Arizona. Hampton holds 36 races of experience as a NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series crew chief, having previously worked with Taylor Gray and the No. 1 Toyota Tundra team.
