What happened in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship? Late-race crashes disrupt the battle for the 2026 title.

Kaden Honeycutt won the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday night to capture the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship. Honeycutt, driving for TRICON Garage, passed Christian Eckes in the closing laps to earn his fifth victory of the season and seal his first national series title.
Title contender Layne Riggs suffered an early setback after colliding with Nick Sanchez on Lap 2 and battling tire issues, ultimately finishing 32nd. Guided by crew chief Scott Zipadelli, Honeycutt pitted for fresh tires under a late caution with 27 laps remaining before charging back to secure the championship by an 83-point margin.
