With three starters out, the Raptors needed others to step up to have a chance to cap their road trip with a win on Friday in NBA Cup play. Alijah Martin did just that.

Alijah Martin delivered a career-best performance to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 121-107 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in NBA Cup play on Friday at Fiserv Forum. Martin scored a career-high 27 points, hitting 6-of-7 three-pointers.
RJ Barrett also scored 27 points for Toronto, while Jamal Shead contributed 10 points and 16 assists in his first start of the season. Jakob Poeltl added 19 points and 11 rebounds as Toronto improved to 5-4 overall and 1-1 in NBA Cup action. Tyler Herro paced the Bucks with 23 points, but Milwaukee dropped to 1-8.
